Who we are
Koffies is operated for the Koffies website at koffies.ch and the mobile app Koffies.
This policy explains how Koffies may process information when people use the website, mobile app, QR scanning features, Hive gameplay, Word Adventure gameplay, account/login features where available, and related app services.
Data we may process
Depending on how you use Koffies, we may process:
- Account information such as an email address or login identifier if you sign in.
- App usage and gameplay progress, including Hive and Word Adventure progress.
- QR scan results needed to provide app features.
- Camera access for QR scanning only.
- Device and app diagnostic data needed for security, debugging, and service reliability.
Camera permission
The Koffies app uses the camera to scan QR codes. Camera access is used for QR scanning only.
Camera images or video are not used for location tracking.
Location
The current release does not request device location permission.
Notifications
Notifications may be used only if enabled by the user. You can manage notification choices in your device settings.
Third-party services
Koffies may use Firebase or other Google services where needed for authentication, messaging, analytics, crash or security diagnostics, and app infrastructure.
The app may also be distributed through Google Play and the App Store, which process information under their own policies.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate, secure, debug, distribute, and improve the app and website.
Children
The app may be suitable for younger users, but parents or guardians should supervise account use and app activity.
Data retention
Data is kept only as long as needed for app functionality, security, legal, or operational reasons.
User choices
Users can contact Koffies to request access or deletion where applicable.
