With Koffies, kids collect magnetic QR plates, scan them with the app and unlock new glowing Hive maps. Each unlocked Hive opens a tiny 2D world where they can move, explore and level up their hero.

How Koffies works

Koffies combines physical collecting with digital play. Kids don’t just tap a screen – they move, scan and unlock new corners of their own glowing world.

Collect magnetic plates

Packs come with QR plates that stick to fridges, whiteboards or a Koffies hive board.

Scan to unlock Hive maps

The app scans the QR code and lights up a new Hive tile in the hive overview.

Enter the 2D level

Tapping a glowing Hive opens a tiny 2D world where kids can walk, jump and collect small rewards.

Watch the hive grow

Over time, the Hive grid fills up with glowing maps – a visual progress board kids are proud of.

Hive World preview

This is the bird’s-eye overview kids see in the app. Each Hive is a map. Unlocked maps glow, locked ones wait quietly until a new plate is scanned.

Magnetic plates & starter packs

Koffies plates are sturdy, fridge-friendly and designed for kids’ hands. Each pack includes multiple plates that unlock new areas of the Hive world.

✱ Plates come in themed packs (for example: forest, city, space) so kids can build their own stories.
✱ Magnets make it easy to arrange plates into a hive shape on a board, wall or fridge.
✱ Each scan adds progress inside the app without needing accounts or online chats.

Koffies is built to keep kids curious, not glued to a screen. The game encourages movement, collecting and short play sessions rather than long scrolling.
